After three weeks of submissions representing the very best in fan dedication, boundless imagination, and skillfull application of frosting and fondant, the winners of WeLoveFine.com’s first Facebook Cupcake Challenge were announced this week! We’re so stoked about the results of our My Little Pony challenge, which were selected from dozens of outstanding, creative designs, bringing out the skills in each other and helping to build community spirit!:

GRAND PRIZE: Jon Doe, who constructed an impressive multi-cake array based on the “Nightmare’s End” design.

SECOND PRIZE: CJ Johnston, who also took a multi-tiered approach and created a richly-colored display based on “Luna Nouveau.”

THIRD PRIZE: Janelle Hell, who took just one cupcake and created a pastel-perfect interpretation of “Celestia Nouveau.”

The challenge lasted one month, during which for the first three weeks, WeLoveFine.com’s Facebook followers were asked to decorate a cupcake using their favorite My Little Pony t-shirt design in the store as inspiration. Outstanding entries began pouring in, and for the final week WLF staffers performed the difficult task of narrowing down the entries to five finalists upon which the Facebook community could then vote – and these were the lucky winners! Congrats to you all, and we look forward to more terrific challenges with our Facebook community.

We are extremely excited to announce that launching THIS MONDAY, September 12, we will have TWO new design contest open for artists to submit their fantastic works, with excellent prizes including BIG cash for the grand prize winners!
