
Los Angeles, (October, 2012)— Portfolio360 Art Gallery today announced the dates for its Mr. Potato Head 60th Anniversary exhibition. For one week, the gallery will turn into a world celebrating the life, style and adventures of the MR. POTATO HEAD character. The show will be on display from October 3 – October 10, 2012, at Portfolio360 Art Gallery, 7665 Melrose Avenue, from 6 p.m. – 10 p.m.
Mr. Potato Head 60th Anniversary is a comprehensive collaboration of artists curated & produced by independent gallery owner David La Velle in collaboration with Hasbro, Inc. and inspired by MR. POTATO HEAD, a beloved brand that has brought fun to kids and kids at heart for 60 years. The work of these artists can be seen throughout Los Angeles and many cities around the world. The exhibition features approximately 15 original works from such artists as MSK/TSL, Gregory Siff, Kerry Hyatt, David Flores, Snyder, Emmeric Konrad, Free Humanity, Annie Preece, Benjamin Alejandro, TISA and Dave Warnke. The MR. POTATO HEAD character is celebrating this milestone year by inspiring these top artists to express their creativity in one-of-a-kind works of art. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of these works of art are to be donated to The Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles.
