Introducing “Captain Cumulus’s Revenge”: Our first WeLoveFine animated short, featuring some of the “characters” you have come to love from our website logo. Can Captain Cumulus be stopped?! Will DinoThor save the day?! Can Mr. Sparkles (or whatever his name actually is) catch a break?! Dude!

We really wanted to revamp our Monthly Fan Photo Contest, in which you can show off your love of what we do to all of your fellow We Love Fine fans, into something bigger and better and worthy of your great support – and here it is! “Submit Your Photo 2.0″, if you will! Using our contest submission platform, you can now upload your images and yourself and all of your fellow fans can rate their favorite images to help determine our monthly winners! And you can still win great prizes of FREE spending credit on WeLoveFine! Plus, our first place winner will have their image featured on our home page for a month!

Head over to our January 2013 Fan Photo Contest NOW and start submitting your entries! By the way, we have taken many of the photos submitted to us in recent months that were not entered into competition and kicked off our January group with these, so if sent in a photo, check and see if it’s posted already!

You can enter photos now through January 31st!; you will then be able to rate your favorites to help determine our winners throughout February, and we will announce our first winners on March 1st! Until then, we will periodically rotate out the home page’s customer photo with some of our recent entries.

Designer/illustrator Juan Ortiz‘s ongoing series of retro designs depicting classic episodes of Star Trek: The Original Series have captivated not only Trek fans but lovers of all scifi since their announcement this past summer. For one week, the gallery will turn into a world celebrating the life, style and adventures of the MR. POTATO HEAD character.  The show will be on display from October 3 – October 10, 2012, at Portfolio360 Art Gallery, 7665 Melrose Avenue, from 6 p.m. – 10 p.m.

We’ve sold a whole lot of Avengers-related tees and more this summer, and thanks to the success of the film it continues to be a big seller, particularly all of our Loki tees. But just as popular as the fan-beloved villain is the equally fan-beloved SHIELD agent who is unflappable and awesome, Agent Coulson. We have added numerous fab Phil Coulson designs to our site in recent months, from an art nouveau design to homages to classic Marvel covers, and most recently we’ve added some fantastic artwork by Erebus Odora, an artist and friend that was recommended to us directly by the man himself, actor Clark Gregg!:
